Jakub Bartnicki
Founder · Sustainability advisory and programme leadership
Jakub’s career spans technical environmental consulting, the development of advisory capabilities and senior sustainability leadership in international organisations.
His experience includes Bureau Veritas, Green Rating Alliance, CBRE and A&O Shearman, with work across sustainability strategy, emissions and energy, governance, risk and operational change.
Jakub has personally developed emissions accounting and allocation methods, building-energy assessment tools, technical calculations, data and quality-control processes, and environmental-credentials options. He has also led the teams, decisions and programmes needed to put that work into practice.
That experience has reinforced a distinction that matters to Janterum: a technically sound solution may still be wrong for an organisation if it overlooks the people, constraints and responsibilities on which delivery depends.
His technical background matters to how he leads: he can question a calculation, test a proposed method, design controls around the real work and undertake agreed specialist delivery himself. He combines that depth with proportionate methods, relevant stakeholder engagement and clear decision-making.
The objective is not simply to develop a convincing recommendation, but to help a client decide and deliver with confidence.
